I watched a few of these when they came out. There's loads of love for the genre(s) in there but generally they weren't as good as might have been expected. There are lots of in-jokes if you have an encyclopaedic knowledge of British horror, so I'm told.
Dr Terrible's House of Horrible Page 2
I quite liked the episode set in a lift, the rest were pretty dire.
It was reasonably good, with odd flashes of brilliance. Dr Terrible is ace, though: one of my fave Coogan characters.
I quite liked them. Not as good as some of the stuff he's done and in some places he was more clever than funny. Having said that though, the Dr. Terrible character was fantastic and overall they captured the feel of the Hammer type films perfectly. My personal favourite was the episdoe with Mark Gatiss as there seemed be more dodgy puns in that one (I assume he had a hand in the writing of it).
Dodgy puns, eh? I'll have to track it down and watch again.
From what I remember I actually enjoyed this show, I only ever watched it when it was broadcast so I would have to see it again to see what I think of it now.

I haven't watched it for a while so it could just be that, as it was Mark Gatiss, it just seemed liked 50% of what he was saying was dodgy puns. That's why he was the perfect choice to play Professor Nebulous.

Or you could just go out for a meal with Marc P.

I prefer funny ones, not dry.
Puns are great.
One of my favourite dodgy puns was "I have set my trap and now the time has come for me to shut my trap"
On the 'Witch locator' episode: Village Girl: "I'm not a witch, I'm a good girl, I go to church!"
WL "You look wicked to me, totally wicked"
