The second series is starting tonight (24th Sept) 22:40 on ITV2. Who's watching? I've seen the first series and I thnk it's nearly as good as the UK version. Steve Carell is brilliant. I don't know why it's on ITV and not BBC, like the first series was, but ah well.
The Office USA
ITV bought it from under the noses of BBC. I can't wait for it, same goes for Arrested Development. I need to check if they start (or overlap) at the same time, and if they do i'll be pretty pissed off.
hotzappa11, you'll be pleased to hear they don't overlap... 5 min gap... I've just planned out my evening of American comedy viewing:
10pm ITV2: Entourage (Still not seen that yet)
10:40pm ITV2: The Office USA
11:15pm BBC2: Arrested Development double bill
Really looking forward to Arrested Development, especially the second episode (For British Eyes Only) which I remember Scott saying in another thread is very funny.
Brilliant episode. Funny and sweet at the same. Michael trying to rap over Public Enemy, drunken Pam, and the bit where they supported Michael when he as getting abuse for the idiots at the bar.
I didn't think much of Entourage but the new series of The Office USA was pretty spot on... and Arrested Development, well, is it just me or is series two even better than the first? Such sharp and clever writing.
Well, this is series 3. But yes series 2 was good also I just love Tobias and The Blue Man group.
I think Mark meant the second series of The Office.
Re. series three of Arrested Development, watch out for the return of GOB's 'controversial' puppet Franklin. "It ain't easy being white/It ain't easy being brown." Genius.
No sorry, I did mean series three of Arrested Development, I didn't realise I was that far in all ready! Thanks for pointing it out.
It's such a great show... everything about it... I can't think of another show that's bold enough to insert 'new' content into the "previously" and "next episode" sections that we don't actually see again... so refreshing from the usual.
Now, do excuse me, I'm off to book a ticket to Wee Britain.
Damn! I missed Arrested Development!
