Comedy in London this week

Hiya,

I'm down in fancy London for a week, staying in the W2 area wot is near Hyde Park.

I've found Lowdown at the Albion and I think I might go there to see Newsrevue and Pippa an Adam and possibly Pros from Dover.

So questions are: anyone going to any of those shows? Be nice to meet for a drink if so.

Anyone going to anything else they recommend in the big fancy smoke this w/end? ideally within stumbling distance of Lancaster Gate.

I've Googled and Chortled and Time-Outed but I'd always rather have a recommendation from people who have been to clubs.

Thanks in advance and apologies for my appalling London geography.

I'm at Downstairs at the Kings Head on Thursday (Crouch end) and at the gong show at the Lions Den on Friday (Kings Cross) the Lions Den I highly recommend for Stand up.

Been to see Pippa and Adam before so might go again this week (Adam performed one of my sketches on a BBC Radio 7 show, which is nice). If you want to meet up that's cool (hopefully not too random). PM me back if you're going (and anyone else who might be going).

I used to live in W2.

Fascinating, eh?

Now go take some photos of Hyde Park in the snow.

Off to see Adam and Pippa tonight. Anyone else fancy it/been? is it any good?

Henman and I shot a sketch with Pippa a while back and she did a bang up job. I can't make Saturday to see her and Adam but I would if I weren't so damned popular.

it's tonight Bussell you pussy. Come on down.

Tonight? Shit bags, it's a bit late now. Next time, Warbers.

Yep, Pippa were great.

Wish I was there Warbs - we could go to a tittybar!
