The Lost thread. Page 16

Well I've recorded it and I'm going to watch it as soon as I get home. The missus will have to put up with watching Glee on the +1.

So until then... *puts fingers in ears* La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la...

I just watched it.

One word: f**kers!

Instead of watching it, I just read this

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/s10/lost/tubetalk/a221421/live-blog-the-lost-finale.html

A live blog written as it happened. Quite sufficient! (for a person who hasn't actually been watching, anyway.)

Great ending to a great show!

Minute 1.20
Ooh it's raining.

Minute 2.01
That freckly lass makes me feel funny.

Minute 2.36
How come baldy chops can walk I thought he was dead or crippled.

Minute 3.01
Does it make me gay to want to see Freckles and blond pirate hump?

Minute 4.01
Bored.

Minute 4.02
Still raining.

Minute 4.03
That made no sense.

Minute 4.04
Johnny Bravo on Cartoon Network, do the monkey with me!

Plenty of forced saccharine moments, not enough answers, vague metaphysical nonsense and implicit purgatory/heaven scenes.

Feel sorry for all the plebs that wasted time on this.

Can someone do a short synopsis of what the whole show was actually about, please.

Getting huge ratings for ABC and securing lots of lucrative advertising?

There's a mysterious white light coming out of a hole in a cave on an island. An immortal man has to make sure a rock stays in the hole, or the light will go out. If it does go out, unspecified Bad Things will happen. The immortal man eventually gets bored of this predicament, so he arranges it for hundreds of criminal bastards to come to the island and kill each other. Among the survivors, he hopes to find his replacement. He does.

Short enough?

Did they show the Target commercials in the UK? They were pretty funny.

Massive anti-climax, and I haven't even been watching it.

I think I liked the smoke detector one the best. We were in hysterics watching them last night.

I haven't been able to watch yet, it's taking much longer than usual to download. F**king leechers. Angry

Well. well. Hmm. Enjoyed it, but it left me a little confused as to what went on. The Island was real, right? But when they died, they would go to the sideways world, which was a kind of purgatory?

But the island was a real thing that was stopping evil getting out? Right?

Oh, and Mr Murphy; what was that thing about purgatory you said in the Ashes To Ashes thread . . ? Whistling nnocently Laughing out loud

Enjoyed it, but left me a wee bit baffled. Is that good or not, I don't know.

Resisting urge to use Matt quote for rude misquote joke.
