I'm still not convinced it was ever destined to be a big ratings show. Some just don't connect with a wider audience. It's a shame, but it happens. And I'm not sure reality TV spoofs ever do that well ratings wise. Sure, The Office did well in this country, but it never got the figures Only Fools and Horses or My Family got. As for the states, The Office became a cause celeb but again didn't set the ratings on fire. Not sure what the viewing figures are like for the American Office, but I can't imagine they're huge. And I certainly don't see it going beyong four or five seasons.

I can't speak for America but in this country it could have done even better if it was properly scheduled. Just like Malcolm in the Middle and Seinfeld, AD got shunted about so much by the BBC that even dedicated fans ended up accidently missing a couple of the episodes (I know I did).

Even now it's being pushed around, so I can't set up an auto-record. :(

Have you got Bravo Aaron? It's on there ever night at 3AM, I think?

Yes I do, but are they showing it from series 1, episode 1? I've seen the first few episodes, but it was so long ago that I've forgotten everything so am going to be watching again.

I think they are on about episode 7-8, series 1. It's a double bill on every night.

Hmmm... maybe I was too quick to judge this show.

I lurrrrrrrrrrrve Jobe's chicken impression. It creases me up every time.

Yay.
*Claps hands furiously*
It is just so bloody funny.

Cawkaw! Cawkaw!

Have any of you actually seen a chicken before?

I have.

I'm Ken Tucky. Buckaaaaaaaack!

Got to agree. Can't remember what Lindsay did (was it a chicken as well?) but that was really funny too.

GOB, George Oscar Bluth II

I love this show. Only started watching it since its come on BBC2 so I've sky + it. They try different types of humour in any given episode too. Lots of storylines and the half hour flies by (mainly cos its about 24 minutes).

Wohhoo! Another conversion. Where you you when we needed you?! Actually, where was I?
