I've loved Arrested Development, but have to say I have to say I didn't like Charlize Theron's character. She's a great actress, but their attempts at making her a 'kooky Brit' were a bit lame, I hated the dippy personality, the hats and the rucksack with a fluffy toy attached, isn't that our characture of an American?

Yes, I was glad when her character disappeared. And the whole Little England storyline. It was a rare fumble from a great show.
'For British Eyes Only' does pop into my head every so often though.

I loved her character!
"Mr F"
Yes, I liked her too.
I don't think the 3rd series has been as strong as the first two.
(from what I've watched so far)
But the injokes about being cancelled are very funny.
I have missed series 3. When was it on. I love this programme.

At about midnight on Sundays two or three years ago. You can get the third season DVD from HMV for about £12, though.
Jason Bateman was on The Daily Show last night. He said that Mitch Hurwitz had written half the script for the Arrested Development film, and maybe next year they'd film it.
I've only started watching this over the last few months, but love it!
I think Tobias is my favourite character. His 'never nude' problem is quite, quite hilarious.
Gob's my favourite character. The neediest character in sitcom history ever. And great at dancing like a chicken too.

It makes me sick to agree with you.

I find this both unexpected and delightful.
They never took a mis-step. Perfect.

Which is what makes me slightly fear the movie they keep saying will/maybe/definitely/might happen. Anything less than amazing is going to feel like a dissapointment. Still, even if it is, there's still the original series to love.

I told you that ages ago, man! In fact, as I told you, I placed my hand on your knee in a reassuring way. You seemed more anxious than reassured though.

Oh yeah, he is pretty good. I guess I have two favourite characters.
