Anyone else a cyber patron of this website? Basically it's a monthly short film festival in LA (and now New York) where a number of short pilots are screened. Whichever 5 pilots get the lionshare of the audience vote go onto make another episode to be screened the next month. And so on. Each pilot and subsequent episodes are hosted on www.channel101.com .
Although the content and style vary, it's typically low budget but high on laughs. It shows what's possible with little money and a good premise. Some examples from this month's show:
