Vanilla Coke was my fiancee's favorite pop.

Cherry is the tops though.

Never tried it.

Don't look now, but your Canadian is showing. ;)

(Also applies to Michiganders, etc.)

Really? I was told it was only a Canadian thing.

Nope. I know plenty of other people who call it that as well. There used to be a man come round in a truck selling bottles of it and we called him the pop man.

POP! It's so much fun to say and much less work than 'fizzy drink'

Veeeeeeerrry interesting!

(No huge surprise that Georgia and her surrounds are very heavy in Coke!)

Agreed. The real head scratchers are the "soda" pockets around St. Louis and Wisconsin. What is up with that?

Wasn't that William Hague?

Those places in Canada that aren't marked in dark blue are liars. I've never heard a Canadian say "soda". Coke yes. I say it too when I want a rye'n'coke.

Ha Southeners call soft drinks "other," what a bunch of losers.

Bottom of Florida's quite intriguing too. Goes from Coke to ... Soda, is that? My interpretation of colour isn't too good.
