Any Musos lurking on here?

Some things I have read on here lead me to believe that there are at least some current / ex-musos lurking around on here.

Starting with me - I'm a guitar player and have gigged, toured, recorded and broadcast in the past, to a reasonable level, but never the big time.

Once the writing bug bit me I saw the benefits of a creative outlet that meant I wasn't getting home at 2.30 and then up at 7.30 to do the day job.

Had some brillianr times as a muso though and still do the odd bit, depping and the like.

Climb up on the couch and tell me all about you Mr / Mrs.....

EDIT:

Finally got the hang of uploading so...

A session I did for a library album 10-ish years ago

I'm a keyboard player who does a bit of singing too - was in bands all through my teens and twenties and now potter away writing / recording at home. Here's one of me ditties if you're interested. It's a bit dark but I like it. http://www.macjams.com/song/46727

I play guitar a bit but I'm rubbish at it.

I used to be a singer and singing teacher.

I played bass and sang in a shouty-fast surf-punk band called The Jamming Arabs. We had an album out and played live for John Peel and everything.

Happy times!

I am taking guitar lessons, I have a yamaha clavinova also which I sometimes abuse.

Ah, John Peel - what a great guy and a sad loss. Used to see him and his wife about as they lived in a village near me. He was very supportive of local charities.

Good stuff!

My organ skills are ok. Whistling nnocently

I have a Squier 'fat strat', but I can't play it.

I used to play guitar a lot with friends, but gave it away recently as it had sat in a corner untouched for about a year. Our band was called Romeo Brass, or The Mighty Brass, depending on the day. I sang in the band and played guitar, and some harmonica, and we used cardboard boxes for drums. We self recorded two albums. We were, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the worst bands I've ever heard, and I've heard Scouting For Girls.

I play Guitar Hero on the hard setting.
