Best comedy non-comedies

Just saw a TV trailer for some 70s TV cop shows. There was a great line from John Thaw who played Jack Regan in The Sweeney that older viewers will remember...

CRIMINAL: Who are you?

REGAN: We're the Sweeney Son...and we aint had any dinner.

:D

I guess you have had to watch the programme to appreciate what great characters they were but there were some great lines in that show.

Any other funny non-comedy recommendations?

Similar to The Sweeney, Life on Mars was chock full of good one-liners, even though it wasn't really touted as a comedy. :)

For example:

GENE: Serves you right for staying up rutting all night with that new fella of yours. Do you let his guide dog watch?
PHYLLIS: His guide dog's giving your mam one. From behind.

and

SAM: DCI Hunt will book you for the next unsolved crime he has on his books, which, unfortunately for you, is multiple buggery, with menaces.

Crossroads.

Every episode. Wobbly sets, stilted dialogue and Shughie McFee. It just didn't get any better.

This trailer for What Ever Happened to Baby Jane still makes me laugh...

It's a poor drama that doesn't have some funny dialogue in it somewhere. But I reckon Pulp Fiction has more than its share of laugh out loud scenes.

Ditto Death Proof
