I'd definitely go for the Orange Box, awesome collection of games.
What are you gaming? Page 82
Quote: Afinkawan @ May 10 2011, 2:41 PM BSTSplatterhouse on the MegaDrive was pretty good. I didn't realise they'd done a new one.
I never played the original Portal but they sound interesting so I might pick up Portal 2 or the Orange Box at some point and give them a go.
You can unlock the three original Splatterhouse games as bonuses. I personally loved it, a couple of my friends bought it on my recommendation, one loves it, one hates it yet they're both hooked on it! Check out some YouTube footage to see what you think. I give it big thumbs up.
You can pick Orange box for next to nothing second hand. The first Portal game is quite short but should give you enough of a taste for you to know if you'll like number two.
;o)
Still totally addicted to Left 4 Dead 2
cant stop

im even playing it in my dreams ffs

I'm playing through Portal 2 at the moment - just been through a relatively dul lsection where they introduce the three gels, but it's about to pick up again I think. Loved the 1st game, and have already laughed out loud loads of times at this one.
Quote: Elliott Gill @ May 10 2011, 2:09 PM BSTI finished 'Portal 2' last week and LOVED it. It is a very original and amazing puzzle game. No shortage of fun there. I'm just waiting for PSN to sort itself out then I can get the last few trophies on it.
I like you and your name!

Definitely get the Orange Box. Completely worth it.

It can get a little slow occasionally, but I love the writing. Stephen Merchant's performance is amazing!
Completed Dragon Age Origins. 42 hours in 10 days I think. Best game I've ever played.
You do seem to play mega drive, I said retro, but do remember some of these titles.
Lol, whut?

Playing it over the internet? I had the original, but I didn't have the internet so I didn't get the most out of it by any means. It's a shame it didn't really have a proper singleplayer, Dead Island looks promising though.
The trailer for Dead Island is sad and beautiful and terrifying.
I don't think I've seen that trailer actually, though I've certainly heard about it...
You should look up the HD version on YouTube. It's gorgeous.
What a brilliant trailer, I don't think I've seen anyting edited in such a clever way before, though maybe that's just me.
Of course, I'm not sure if the finished game will be quite like that, but I'm certainly looking forward to it!
I thought Dragon Age was excellent as well by the way, though the demo for the sequel seemed a bit rubbish.
Yeah a lof of people didn't enjoy the second. I have the ultimate edition of origins but I need to wait tip PSN comes back up so I can download all off the free DLCs should give me another 40odd hours of gameplay.
Sounds like you picked a good time to pick it up... I remember I wanted to pick up Awakening, but it wasn't out on PS3. I'm not sure it's out on PS3 apart from the Ultimate edition...
