They're pretty much all console gamers here, Tanis, so steam won't mean much to many on the forum.
I'm playing a game called FTL which is a wee space ship resource management, combatty type thing. It is really really really addictive. It's also part of the humble budnle at the moment if you pay more than £3 (HB this time also includes Fez. Boom!)
I strongly recommend https://www.humblebundle.com/

It's not nearly as dull as it sounds. It's one of the best games I've ever played, and that includes the big AAA console titles.
"Captain a spaceship delivering critical intelligence to the Federation while being chased down by rebels in the top-down space strategy game FTL: Faster Than Light. Manage your crew through one-on-one ship combat and life or death situations, while making sure they don't die from lack of oxygen, fires, or shots from one of an arsenal of weapons. Random scenarios make each trip through the galaxy one full of surprises and challenges.
FTL: Faster Than Light won the Excellence in Design and the Audience Award at the 2013 Independent Games Festival. It was also named Best Debut at the 2012 Game Developers Choice Awards and Best Short-form Game of 2012 by PC Gamer."
Seems the reports that Amazon was going to deliver GTA V a day early were unfounded, at least in my case.
Extra day of Gay Tony! Result.
I was relying on my trade-ins to buy GTAV but they didn't deposit my money in time. I didn't panic as Amazon had a countdown from yesterday (you have xx amount of hours to buy this game to receive on release) I had until about 4pm today according to the countdown timer but when I woke up this morning, the timer had gone and the price raised to £39.99 from £34.99. The bastards.
Oops. I'll pick mine up from Asda once the rush is over. Might wait until I'm back in Bristol too, so mummy Putters can get me a further 10% off.
Having thoughts about taking lots of old Playstations and PSOnes to cash converters in order to get GTA V. I am loath to part with them but think I might have to ir order to get GTA this week.
Try CEX, got good rates, plus they gave me more then they quoted too.
I'm thinking Cash Converters- decent enough rates and it doesn't smell as much of sweat and they don't play Skrillex at 8,000 decibels.
I did mine online, no smell, no Skrillex.
Love a bit of Skrillex...
