Letter to the Editor of a tabloid

Inspired by something I read in the Sachsgate thread on the Writers' Discussion Board.

Sir,

As a licence fee-payer I have to say that I am disgusted that Jonathan Ross is once more being allowed by the BBC to spew his vile filth over the airwaves.

We were told that he was sorry and that he'd changed his ways. But can a leopard really change his spots? I think not.

Thanks to my profession as a sound engineer I have access to state-of-the-art sound manipulation software, and by sitting up all night, I have managed to find hidden statements in Ross's otherwise seemingly harmless comments.

For example.

At one point when talking to a guest he says, "And I went home". Take the "and" and hold that thought. Later on he tells the same guest "there was kangaroo" Now take the "roo" from that and put it together with the "and" and you get "And-roo"

I could scarcely believe it! But when I pieced together many similar examples, what I got at the end of my ten hour session, was nothing more than a tirade of abuse aimed at a much-loved actor! It's a disgrace!

I urge everyone to go out and buy similar sound software packages and work for hours, as I have done, and hear for themselves this shameless filth.

I then further urge all decent citizens to rise up against this evil man and drive him from the country.

Yours in Disgust
