As far as simplistic goes. You could try a free program called Pivot Stickfigure Animator and then if you want to add sound, all you have to use is the basic Windows Movie Maker or your OS equivalent and add it as an image.

Just download this! Looks great. This seems to be about the level of my techniqual ability which is that of a slug.

Just confused about adding the sound thing. - Could you explain the process a bit more? Where do I record the sound? and then I save it as an image?

I have WMM

Well I only learned this trick myself recently but I tried it and it worked.

1. Create your animation
1a. Try and add another pivot (joint) to the back of the character, for a more natural movement. How you do that though, I can't remember, sorry.

2. Save it as a .gif file.

3. In WMM, import the saved .gif as a Picture/Image (I'm on a MAC atm so I can't be sure)

4. Add the imported .gif into the time line.

5. Click Add Narration (again, I'm on a MAC so can't point you there)

6. Record your voices

7. Add sound effects. Hopefully someone else will provide some links to sound libraries for you :)

That should be it, I think?

Hope that helps.

Thanks Leevil,

I have got to the adding sound bit yet. But this is great fun!!

Although- I think all my sketches might be quite short!!!

It takes an age!!!!!!.

No probs. I does take bloody ages, but it's worth it when you see the end result.

I'll pop up some of my examples I made later, I have to find them first.

Maybe it should be "Leevil's Valentines day comedy stick-man punch-up competition 2009"?

Same problem! Download the Trial and take a look at the tutorials. They're good.

Laughing out loud Sounds good!

Ok, let's give this about a week to pick up steam and give a chance for people to throw ideas in.

I'm sure we can work something out and have a bit of a laugh along the way. :)

Sounds good.
