Youtube Contest Anyone?

Just an idea at the minute but does anyone fancy taking up the challenge?

Let's say, first to reach 100,000 hits wins. Has to be original and posted after or on a certain date. 1 minute long.

I'm not sure though? So we should discuss it out here, so, go on then.

Thoughts?

100,000 hits? Is you high, blood?

:D Probably.

Is that too high then? Ok, whatever the average hit rate a month is. Remember though, this is a competition so, to win, you gotta go at it full banana.

Yeah it's a bit high Evil McLeevil. For me anyway! I only have two videos over that and both were Sci-Fi parodies. Lucky if I get 1000!

I just noticed I am at 199 subscribers, someone subscribe quick so I can end the day on 200!

Already subscribed Mr. Pie.

Well, we can change the number or the goal, this is just an idea, created out of boredom and fed with procrastination.

Just looking for more ideas and suggestions at the minute and to see if anyone is interested and up for it.

I was subscriber 200.

I'll watch these videos if you go ahead with the contest. And if you put tags such as "Fred" or "sxephil" or "Smosh" on your video, you'll easily reach 100,000 views in no time.

Good idea. Set it up and give us time to work on our YouTube thingies. I have to get an account and think of something to do. Like a date to start and end.

Make it so we all start fresh with a new YouTube video...........okay?

Yeah Dr. that's what I was thinking. No cheating n that ;)

Woohoo 200! Thanks Yatta.

I'm sure I could come up with something for a contest. I'm half tempted to do something Valentines-ey, that might get a lot of hits.

As I'm far to ugly to go on a camera and am a stuttering buffon anyway. I need to learn how to do animation. Anyone know the best place to start - A course, book, website etc???

I might take part in this. I used to put little videos up on YouTube last year of me chatting about stuff Charlie Brooker style. They were mildly popular. I'm sure I could come up with something for a one-off.

As far as simplistic goes. You could try a free program called Pivot Stickfigure Animator and then if you want to add sound, all you have to use is the basic Windows Movie Maker or your OS equivalent and add it as an image.

Same problem! Download the Trial and take a look at the tutorials. They're good.
