Getting back to the point of the thread..

I always loved that episode of Only Fools & Horses where Delboy had a crazy scheme to make money, and it seemed to be going well but right near the end it blew up in his face somehow.

Does anyone remember the name of that one ?

Gosh, that's a tough one to remember. Was it the same one where Rodney was coaxed into helping somehow?

The ones I've seen are Ted, Fawlty, Young Ones and IT Crowd. I haven't seen that Simpsons episode, or the Red Dwarf.

I'll swap your Father Ted for my Simpsons. :)

Similarly, the episode of Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em in which Frank gets into scrapes with an authority figure and ends up falling into or out of something never fails.

What is it, Season Four? That's a good excuse to go out and buy a boxset.

Yeah, I think so. I haven't got any Simpsons on DVD but Season 4 is the one I'd have. It's all good. Nay, great.

Just seen one of my favourite sitcom eps ever. In Sickness And In Health first series where Alf keeps scaring off all of the home help. There is a really nice scene with him and his mate in the pub. It's not particularly funny but there is just something amazing about it.

Maybe I should give Red Dwarf another chance.

Do! Series 2-6 are full of good stuff! If you're unsure, I say check out Marooned from series three somewhere. Very stripped back for a Dwarf, but I think sitcom writing at its best!!
