Here's something that may help you all, if like me, you struggle to try and remember the name of the wee Scottish lassie who does the second programme segment on GMTV, immediately after their main show on a typical morning.
My wife and I often have a take-away curry on a Friday evening and as the tin-foil cartons all look fairly uniform, the chef from our local tandoori has come up with a rather ingenious way of identifying exactly which meal is in which carton.
The judicious use of a biro enables him to scrawl the initial letters of each dish on the lids of each carton. Thus Chicken Chapat, my favourite, has CC inscribed on the lid. Mattar Paneer has MP, and now here's the handy bit, the wee woman always has Lamb Korma so consequently her carton always has LK on it.
Well you don't need to be Einstein to realise that LK is exactly the letters required to inscribe the initials of Lorraine Kelly. The Scottish, gay icon and quite frankly large-breasted jaunty presenter of the second GMTV show every morning.
So now when I'm asked "Who's the bird that does the second show on GMTV most mornings?" it is a relatively simple matter to employ the following thought process and arrive at the correct answer every time.
Now she's got the same initials as my wife's preferred curry. The wife always has a lamb korma so extrapolating that out means that the presenter's initials are L and K. So who is it? Of course it's none other than perky, vivacious Scott - Lorraine Kelly.
Simple isn't it?
