As for Bono, I just couldn't get over that bloody "where's me bleeding Stetson" thing where he sued a stylist for "taking" his hat. And that he had a hat flown over 1st class when he forgot it for a show smacks of hypocrisy.
Most of their songs irritate me, but then that's just a matter of taste. It's the whole "save the world, where's me hat?" that gets to me.
