Money no object

Just for fun...

The US Senate are considering a massive bid from Manchester City for the United States of America, according to CBS news.

"This is an interesting situation. There is an offer from Manchester City Football Club to purchase the entire country (except Alaska) and the Senate is seriously considering it," Said a glossy and attractive achor at the station.

Sky Sports have said that a bid of around $850 giga-billion dollars (£575 g-b) has been tabled by the Eastlands club, who are owned by bottomless pit billionaire Abu Dhabi royal Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Advisors KPMD, meanwhile, claimed that the US Senate have given the USA permission to talk to City and that a delegation led by President elect Obama would probably be traveling to England to speak to the club to discuss terms.

City were bought out by Sheikh Mansour in the summer and immediately splashed £32.5m on Real Madrid forward Robinho on transfer deadline day and are also currently trying to sign Brazilian ace Kaka. "If we can also sign the USA it will add a much needed depth to the squad that we currently lack." Said some guy we chatted to.

Mark Hughes's side have had an inconsistent start to the season and currently lie 15th in the Premier League, 13 points behind European qualification and only two above the relegation zone. Hughes expressed his delight at the prospect of having another 350 million players to choose from and is busy assisting with plans to turn the USA landmass into a youth training academy for the club.

Nice Laughing out loud

Nice bit of fun.

Maybe when Kaka comes over he'll get hitched to Ulrika.
'Ulrika Kaka.'

Very good indeed.

The thought of Manchester City replacing the USA as a super power has a nice ring to it.

Maybe a Man City v Chelsea game could re-enact the cold war.
