Any one coming to the roadshow tonight?
Writers' Room Roadshow
No.

We all got together and decided Graham would be our spokesman. You have your answer.
I gave you all 25 minutes to change your minds.
Shame aparently they're going to buy every script they get shown this evening.
The writer gets a billion pounds and the script gets produced for a billion zillion pounds.
I am taking a picture of a horse with the words "horse f**ker" written on it in crayon.
Ah, bollocks. Just my luck, as usual.
I'll be there. Without a script though
We may bump into each other, I'll have "Horse f**ker," with me.

You're not Peter Shaffer are you?
No I am not Peter Shaffer, nor have I a shaved Peter.
For anyone that's going I just had an email saying that they'd like people to be in their seats by 5:15 as they're expecting it to fill up, which probably means you should get yourself on the guest list if you haven't already.
I'll be the one berating them for rejecting my Austrian version of 'Kids in the Attic'
If we're all going how will we recognise each other?
Yes but our avatar names are all diferent.
I for one know your true name to Stepen-Wright Inthee Aftanoon.
I thought it was good, nailed a few things that I thought were true. The main point being that the script you send in is a call-card for your writing rather than a script that will actually be made.
Some of the questions were a bit bizarre. Some people thought it was a lesson in writing. Nice seats though.

This is very true, as the "talent" they spot get shipped off to the Academy (Writing, not Police!) and then on to Holby-dom.
I was reading a blog of one such person who states that he hardly has time for writing his own stuff, as he's got commissions for all the four BBC continuing dramas.
But, saying that, I'm SURE some scripts get made after being spotted at Writersroom.... don't they???
I mean, they can't ALL write for EastEnders can they?
