If you don't like the rules just do Simon and Declan's show instead.
Don't you tell me what to do!

It's not about the math(s).
I have no problem that those who put in very significant amounts of effort to organize this stuff, and take the finacial risk get to make the rules. And, I am sure that the changes they have made are designed to give the best outcome possible for all concerned (producers/promoters, actors, directors, writers and audience). Like others on the forum, I just wonder about the practical effects of some of these changes. I'd hate the rep built up over the years to suffer as there is no doubt it is a great showcase.
I'll shut up now.
What Ponderer said. All kudos to Kev and James for putting this on, and whether I take part or not, I sincerely hope the project is a success.
OK, these dual threads are getting confusing... let's move everything over to the new Autumn 09 thread James has setup... https://www.comedy.co.uk/forums/thread/13891
Even if you're not a fan of all the voting rules, you might as well still enter, as any opportunity is surely better than no opportunity!
As has been mentioned above, Declan and Simon are also putting on a stage show at some point, with more details coming later in the year I think, so between these two shows there's going to be lots of opportunities to get your scripts performed.
