How Long Have You Been Writing? Page 2

I have been writing for a few months and it all started with this forum. I posted a few sketches on here and the critique I got was helpful and made me want to do more. I havn't been on very much since then but I have been busy writing on my own sketch show which I'm also performing in for four weeks at The Lion & Unicorn Theatre starting later this month. So that's my biggest acheivement to date!

Sammy

Been writing for a few months. Like many I suppose seeing this forum inspired me to get ideas down, and showed how to format sketches and the like.

Had a couple of songs and a sketch in Treason and Newsrevue.

Onwards and upwards indeed - imagine you'll get a sketch in sooner rather than later given those I've read

I used to write as a teenager. (Novels, sketches, songs) etc.

Sent off a few (crap) novels to publishers at age of 16. Got rejected.

Gave up for a long time. Lived with women, blah, blah, relationships, blah, blah!

A WHILE LATER....

Two years ago, I finally got my arse back in gear.
Started writing a novel.

In 2008 I shelved the novel for now, and concentrated on writing sketches and TV scripts.

Like lots of others on here, I've had good ongoing success with News Revue, Treason Show and 118.

Currently, I have seven pilots (comedy, drama, sitcom, etc) to start sending out to the media.

Tonight I started writing a play.
