I see they saved the unfunniest until last.

I agree with this. I thought the episode was all right though. I liked that Rob's sister and his best friend were together. Also one of my favourite lines...

Steve Jones: Maybe he's planning some big dramatic entrance like at the end of The Graduate.

Rich: ... Haven't seen it.

Yeah, bit of a disappointing end wasn' it. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed it... but this final episode wasn't up to par with the rest of the series IMHO. The ending was a bit annoying too. Not enough Nigel Harman either - he's very funny in this.

There is, sort-of, the premise there for another series (Duncan and Rob trying to upstage Steve Jones?) so I hope Channel 4 do give it another go.

I enjoyed this still and I did like the end: giving an opportunity for series two and the interest with Rob's workmate to increase.

I like the series on the whole and think it's a great cast.

Me too, definitely. :)

I liked this last episode a lot! Thought it was the best and had me laughing lots all the way through. Good fun was had and a good setup for series two. Though, maybe they could change the whole main character and have Duncan Fromblue as the one invited to the next wedding! :)

Kudos to Steve Jones for his excellent facial expressions in that last episode.

All in all, enjoyed the series. If not classic, it was interesting, original and certainly had it's moments. All the cast were good too, and the characters were likeable in their own ways.

The last episode was easily the best one. It still wasn't brilliant but there were at least three moments that I laughed out loud which is more than the other eps in the series put together. I actually think that as a non actor Duncan James was quite funny and clearly fully understood the character he was playing- which really wasn't himself as he is nowhere near the superstar the sitcom made him out to be.

IMO,one of the 4 best comedies of last ten years, after Coupling, The Office amd Worst Week Of My Life

I liked it.
It wasn't brilliant but I enjoyed watching it.
And I noticed that their office seems to have the same view of Tower Bridge as Charlie Brooker does on his show.
What is that building ?

Plus Two
His ex-girlfriend and Duncan Fromblue publicly organise a threesome with Cheryl Ofgirlsaloud. Rob not only has to convince <whoever he eventually takes to wedding> to return, but take part in *his* threesome with <someone better than Duncan Fromblue and Cheryl Ofgirlsaloud, probably Elton John or something>.

Looks like there won't be a Plus Two :(

I don't see where a second series would have gone anyway. It was a very closed story told over the six episodes.

Plus One was terrible.

No classic, I know but I quite liked it. Certainly more than PhoneShop!

Gutted, one of my fave comedies of the past decade, I would particularly liked to have seen the Rob/Laura situation resolved.

If you people think that Plus One and Rob Black were not funny then the best advise I can give to you is go and see a doctor.
