I saw the reunited Stooges 2 or 3 times and saw Ron play with Mike Watt and J. Mascis a few times, too. He was a really nice guy.

Someone needs to do some rock and roll homework. The Stooges were/are a band, not just Iggy's backing group. Asheton was a pioneer of rock guitar.
