I'm not certain. It may very well be.

Yup yup. I think that there may have been longer series, but not many.

Now there's a co-incidence !

About the series length, you mean?

'xactly so, and the protagonists.

Increased the output, if anything.

Coming up soon are It Ain't Half Hot Mum Series 8, and as I suspected, following the mammoth new Blackadder set, the same treatment for Fawlty Towers.

Has Last Of Summer Wine series 15 and 16 been mentioned yet?

Nope. Thanks for the heads up though.

Also a comprehensive book coming out, which I'm sure Jack will be the first to pre-order:

Glad about IAHHM series 8, that will finish off my collection that has been plagued by re-releases and cancellations.

Fawlty Towers - Remastered

Any idea whether the "Is it your legs?" line will be restored to The Kipper and the Corpse episode? Looks worth getting for the new stuff.

Haven't a clue, I'm afraid. Might be a little more information emerge closer to the time, but I suspect it'll include whatever cuts the current releases do.

I just checked to see if Hot Metal was out yet, and it looks like it's just series 1, after all. Play says 2 discs, but Network's site says 1, so the former must be a mistake.

Also, Whoops Apocalypse is out in Oct, which I'm looking forward to. The Labour Govt. in it is about as competent as the current real one, i.e. not at all. Oops, little bit of politics in there...
