Some interesting shows coming up in August. *starts saving*
HMV have just launched their Summer Sale. I haven't had a chance yet to see what comedies are included in that, but it looks like there's a few things.

How odd that you had to wait so long for it in the UK. Been out in Australia for a while.
Not odd. Very, very, very common. But sad, yes.
I'm looking forward to the release of Grace & Favour - like that's going to happen anytime soon.
Heh, yeah. A couple of years at least. *sigh*
Might order the R1 version.
You're better to wait. Saves all the possible compatibility issues.
With series 8 of Are You Being Served nearly out, perhaps its not that far off. Series 9 in 2010. So we could have it by 2012.
I would guess Series 9 by the end of the year, or early next. Series 10 next year some point, and then possibly Grace & Favour. An AYBS? complete box set at Christmas, including G&F if it has been out. Or possible that they'll only release it as part of the complete set.
Sorry I have to ask, but is Grace and Favour what we call Are You Being Served, Again? Because we Americans can't tell when a show is a spinoff? Grr.
Correct.
I love the Americans for that. [Title] Again!.
It's nothing to be proud of, believe me. I have a friend who told me I need to watch Clatterford, and I said, "you mean Jam and Jerusalem? I've already seen it." She said, "No I mean Clatterford." After an hour long conversation on how they change the name of some British shows because many American TV viewers are morons and won't get the title, I gave up because I was cutting but she wasn't bleeding. And it wasn't worth the argument because I didn't really care for the show that much.
Haha, oh deary me. Does she sing the praises of Good Neighbours too?
