Entourage on ITV2

Simple question: anyone seen it, if so, is it worth watching tonight?

Can't say I'd even heard of it before. I expect I'll be tuned to Midsomer Murders.

Some clips here.

Blimey, where have you been hiding? Entourage has been hyped to death. I missed last week's episodes but will watch it tonight - it's an HBO show and their stuff is usually first rate.

Hiding? Nowhere... I just rarely watch those 'common' channels.

Maybe you should...

Maybe. But they'd have to produce something (other than Midsomer Murders) worth watching first.

As you said to another poster earlier today...Well that was insightful.

It's obviously impossible to produce something better than the wonderful Midsomer Murders but Entourage sounds like a good start.

Entourage. Well, it was overhiped that's for sure and i only laughed a couple of times. I don't think i'd watch it reguarly.

Completely different. My statement was that of personal opinion. I've seen nothing in the schedules worth my watching.

(Save as indicated.)

Thanks for clarifying that.

Back to the point of this thread - has anyone actually seen Entourage and would they say that it's worth a watch? From what hotzappa says, it sounds like one of those shows that is worth watching every now and again but not every week.

I saw this on ITV1 last night and thought it was pretty good, with a nice cast and few rye smile moments rather than laugh out loud moments. My only real problem with it is that I'm getting slightly bored of these naval gazing comedies that revolve around the entertainment industry (Extras, Fat Actress, The Lisa Kudrow Show, Lead Balloon, etc). It's like the only thing comedians want to write about nowadays is the extremely narrow world they inhabit.
