Having got an agent towards the end of 2007, spent most of last year waiting for the phone to ring.
About November I worked out that it probably wasn't and that it was going to be down to me to do the legwork.
So, best part of a year wasted.
Finished my second TV comedy/drama.
Wrote a pilot and blocked out a sit-com/comedy series with another guy.
Wrote a short film (got to the quarters of KAOS)
A ten minute play (entered into ScriptNight:Renaissance).
Put my first screen-play up on Triggerstreet, where it got into the top ten, but then dropped away because I wasn't willing to read other people's shitty scripts PLUS got bored with Yanks telling me that my indentation was 4mm off and that's not how you spell 'color'.
Got my teeth into another comedy drama - but got a bit stuck.
SO this year is about sending stuff out and winding myself up before the boost I got from 'Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe:Writers Special' wears off.
Good Luck to one and all!
