That's not prudish. That's common sense.
It's also something I've never understood. Why would you waste money on something that is going to harm you that much? I have no problem with people who smoke it.
I have no problem with people not wanting to smoke drugs or tobacco, or not drink. It's up to them. Chillax! 
If I was at a party and people were doing it, I would leave but I wouldn't make a scene. It's a big issue I have but I know ramming my views about it down peoples necks won't stop anything so I just leave them to it. You can't help people who won't help themselves, even I know that.

I have a paper round, the main reason is to get me fit, as it is quite hilly and it does get me quite fit and I've recieved about £20 worth of tips so far and there is a good few days to go for Christmas yet.
It is up to them, I'm just saying that I personally think it's not big or clever. I'm not wagging my finger at anyone saying "Don't do that", I'm just saying that's my view.

ANYWAY....MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVING ON.
I don't think I've ever worked in a place where I got tips or at least got to see any of them. One place I worked had a tip jar but all the money would go on a Christmas staff meal which we all knew only half the money went on anyway.
I have only ever had one job. We didn't get tips.
