And, as we didn't have to say to my six year-old great nephew this Christmas morning:
Merry Christmas to friend and foe.
Ho Ho Ho
Merry Christmas all! Hope you've been having a good'un!
Merry Christmas! I hope you all had a wonderful day with your loved ones. I'll be heading to the Denver airport in an hour, and it's always hard to say goodbye to my daughter and grandkids. As is traditional, I'll spend the next few days searching for jobs and houses in Denver, but I doubt I'll ever move here. Living 1,000 miles from my nearest family member is a drag.
Yesterday, Christmas day, I had a quick browse for a new guitar in the sales. No more than 5 minutes and I didn't choose one.
This morning I came here and this was the first post I looked at.
The magic of cookies.

Once you've looked at something "they" know everything about you.
My main man! Thanks for that - I'll have to download it..
One of my pressies was the "'Tim Timinee Tim Timinee Tim Tim to you"' DVD
Haven't watched it yet, as my son wants to watch it with me, and there's nothing like savouring summat.
Just received our first Christmas card (not a commercial one, but family) - this is ridiculous! I blame the telly..................
Blame the post! Some people are taking weeks to get their mail at the moment, so it's probably quite wise to send Christmas cards now.
Yes, but there's "Post early for Christmas" and there's bloody hell!! Do the decent thing and post on the 1st December at least. š

Maybe it's from last year.
I noticed my neighbour has put up their tree today and it made me smile thinking they had fun getting in to the festive spirit putting up the decorations and I don't even know them. If it makes people happy why shouldn't they get Christmassy in November? This is my first dry Christmas in many a year so will make a welcome change to actually remember it. I saw a Bailey's cream advert this week and really fancied one so getting to Boxing Day without any Bailey's will be a challenge.
Gave up drinking 8 years ago (along with smoking), when I thought Christmas would be a problem, but it turned out not to be, and I don't miss drink at all - and certainly not the fags.
