CHRISTMAS! Page 24

Christmas rools.

Christmas is awesome. I'm feeling very excited about it!

I hate it for the hassle it brings :(

Christmas rools.

I have bought a proper awesome present as well. Just waiting for it to turn up. Bought some Doctor Who and Zelda stuff for brother and so jealous I want them!

This.

My Lego advent calendar alone is enough to make my Christmas though. (It is ace.)

Ha, I bought a book for my brother that I very nearly kept. But I've wrapped it now to avoid temptation.

This time next week Christmas will all be over!
Done and dusted for another year!
Huzzah!
:D

So that means the Hot Cross buns will be out in a week or maybe two. Then it's only another 9 months before all the stores start selling Christmas stuff again. They seem to put them out earlier every year though so maybe it will only be 7 or 8 months.

We're in that weird Limbo Week between Christmas and New Year now.
It's weird. And it lasts a week.

Apparently it's now called Twixtmas.

A major chain store in Australia has alot of unhappy customers after they offered an online lay-by service for Christmas. People have ordered items back in October/ November or even earlier in some cases that were meant to be delivered in time for Christmas. However the company has had problems getting the goods sent out in time and now some people won't recieve their orders by the weekend. This particular store is a popular place for childrens toys, so I imagine some parents will be coming up with some interesting excuses as to why Santa didn't turn up this year.

:(

Last year with all the snow, most of my presents didn't get delivered until Christmas Eve. It was a flipping nightmare.

Just tell the kid it was naughty. Or God(Santa) works in mysterious ways. Works for Christians.

How will you know when Santa passes his sleigh driving test?

He'll have No-el plates!

Such festive frolics . . . . .

This year I did 100% of my shopping online. The majority of it was Amazon because I'm a Prime member and everything had free 2-day shipping. (Not sure that's an issue in the UK but it comes in handy when all your family members live 1500+ miles away.)

It doesn't feel very Christmasy compared to last year. Even the shops seem pretty quiet - although there was a school band in Sainsbury's earlier with some annoyingly loud horns.

It's great right? Nothing beats not battling with people in shops and ordering for shopping whilst in a big comfy chair.
