David Hunter was better.

Anyone see the Peter Sallis interview? He seemed slightly non-committal in his praise for Kathy.

Yes, I was somewhat surprized and disgusted by his comments of him and I quote: "Not been a fan", his remarks regading Kathy Staff's appearance with David Frost also seemed slightly disrespectful.

For me the show has now lost its heart and soull with both her and Bill Owen gone, may she R.I.P.
Perhaps now Roy Clarke may decide to "Bury the show with fondness" as he once put it.

The chance of the show being buried in fondness has gone. Last of the Summer Wine:
1973-1985: Absolutely Superb
1986-1997: Good
1997-1999: Mediocre
1999-2008: Shocking
