Watching sitcom being filmed Page 2

I didn't realise it had started as I've booked for later in the series.

I didn't realise they were remaking it at all!

Which is it going to be? A complete abomination, a fairly straight remake or a 're-imagining' of the books? And is David Nobbs involved?

It's written by Simon Nye and David Nobbs.

I think this could work! I hope so.

I saw an episode of Spaced being filmed once, when they used our work building as a setting.

Ooh, what happened in the episode?

Is that the one where they have to get Tim's portfolio back from Dark Star comics?

\I think it was one where they had to break in & get a picture from someone's office. Simon Pegg was dressed up a bit Matrixey.
The end bit had this rave loving bloke dancing to traffic light noise.

Yeah that's the one I was thinking. Cool :)

Hehe, I was thinking of that one too. Must be the only one that uses a workplace. The workshy buggers.
I love that episode.

I've never been to see a sitcom be filmed, but wouldn't mind doing it one day. I did sign up to one of those 'get tickets for shows being filmed' things, but nothing good ever seems to come up. And when it does it's difficult to get a ticket!

I did go to see Frank Skinner's Opinionated be filmed though and, despite being 3 hours worth of filming I enjoyed it very much.
