We've already discussed my musical tastes. What about TV?

I cannot watch any of the Celebrity programmes. Who cares which "past his best" celebrity is King of the Jungle? And it's just voyeurism to watch them eat all sorts of unsavoury things.

I cannot watch X-Factor because it's just about Cowell and Walsh. What exactly have any TV reality talent shows thrown up as real long lasting "talent"? All Cowell has under his belt (!) is Teletubbies. Wow! Rock and Roll. And Walsh just produces Karaoke boy bands he wants to shag.

Anyone with a defence of 'Cowell did Robson & Jerome / Zig & Zag / Power Rangers' don't have a leg to stand on.

You might not like him, or his products, but he's rich as f**k for a reason. He's got an impeccable record on X Factor of picking the right people and never getting it wrong.

I'm no pop fan either, but when it comes to manufactured pop and making money, the man's a bona fide genius.

Yes but how many make a sucessful career? They have a couple of hits because of him and then nothing!

He knows what will sell and when. His income is something like 50 million a year. And he earns every penny in my book by milking the stupid.

Also, he's tremendous entertainment on X Factor along with Walsh. Yeah, it's a setup and a total con, but f**k it - it's good viewing.
