What should be on me Christmas list?

Okey Dokey

This year has seen my first bionic strides into the British comedy consciousness (I sold a sketch) so I'm looking to really push it next year.

Thus far, all my Christmas list is made up of books. My girlfriend is threatening me with 'Guitar Hero' just to man me up.

Can anyone recommend further reading than this (I have a screenplay, a radio play and more sketches planned for 2009):

•The Writer's and Artist's Handbook 2009
The Writer's Handbook 2009
William Smethurst How to write for television
Evan S SmithWriting Television Sitcoms
Tim FountainSo You Want to Be a Playwright?: How to Write a Play and Get It Produced

Alan Ayckbourne The Crafty Art of Playmaking
Mead Making it as a screenwriter

Sorry for cack formatting

We did a "what writing books do you like" thread before: https://www.comedy.co.uk/forums/thread/9787

and pretty much every writing book ever published got suggested by someone!

But check it out, there's some good suggestions.

Ah - ta for that chief - I'll have a look-see.
