Actually, I just remembered I know another girl with it too.
I guess it must be quite common.

Yeah, but you'll get verrrrry stressed at univeristy. You'll have to get a hat and glue hair to it. And never take it off. :/

No, you just attract freaks.

It's meant to be like 1 or 2 in 100 people, but I've known a few people with it, so I guess the distribution is odd.

*Shakes head* Headbands and ponytails!
Well just to address the balance, I've not heard of it before, let alone known anyone who (openly?) suffers from it.
Funnily I found university very un-stressful.
If it's any consolation Scatterbrained Flozzy I get eczema on my hands when I'm stressed and I can't help scratching it.
Go for Uni, Scatz. You'll love it. Forget the stress side. You'll have stress wherever you go in life, so where better to go unnoticed than amongst a bunch of other stressed-out students cramming for exams.

Just to prove it's not done for attention etc, inteligent pets can suffer from this when they're stressed or upset - usually dogs and parrots.

*Looks at current wreck of hands and arms* , yep I may get that too a little.

I'll definitely go for uni, and thanks so much for the kind words, SlagA.
Aw. I always find it bemusing that pets can get stressed.
Unless they're being like, abused or something, obviously.

And invertebrates. Have you ever seen a hairy earthworm?
Quote: Griff @ December 3 2008, 7:16 PM GMTScats may not be an attention-seeker but I've yet to meet a dog who isn't.
! I would honestly not willingly choose something so horrible to get attention with.

And do people look at it like you've got a contagious lurgey too?
Aw!
