Off work today due to weather

One of the beauties living up in Saddleworth, it is snowing to three inches thick and no buses/trains can make the journey to my office, so having the day off. Laughing out loud

Brillopads. I'm jealous of north weather.

It's a good old life here up north Aaron. I'll dig out a few DVDs today.

Bloody sunshine here again on the coast!

Just heard something hilarious. Just had a walk up to the shop to get a newspaper and walked past the local primary school. There was this kid about eight who was throwing snow balls at his Mum. She got fed up and shouted 'Will you stop it now' Then behind me there was some young girl, about six with her Mum. Her Mum asked her 'Do you know him' (the kid who was throwing snowballs) and she said 'Yes. He's called Josh. He's always talking about vaginas'

It was sunny here, but it's clouding over now.

Sunny with an inch of snedge. I'm going to take my dog out for a walk in a minute and torture her with snowballs.

I've been informed that it IS snowing in Lincoln, but NOT in Bognor Regis.

I love that Britain's so wank, a bit of snow and we grind to a halt.

LOL.

IT'S SNOWING!

Still bloody horrible sunshine here in WC2. Bah!

It looks like it is going to piss it down here in Blackpool, don't generally get much snow here. Now I have said that there will be 6 foot of snow here in the morning.

It's not just snow, it's any weather. It doesn't matter what that weather is or how severe it is, if it's not just a bit grey and dismal but basically with no weather, the whole thing breaks down. I get it all the time trying to get trains into work.

Too much snow and they don't go anywhere, too cold and the tracks ice up, too much rain and bits of it flood, too windy and trees fall on them, too hot and the tracks buckle.

I'm waiting for them to just start using the generic announcement, "the train is delayed due there being some weather today."

It's been sunny but smoggy as usual here, for a few days. But nice and warm, no snow in the offing. Nya nya.

I used to have a cottage near York. My first ever white Christmas in that place, pure picture postcard stuff. Then we spent the day visiting relatives all over, had to take the treacherous Pennine route from Huddersfield to Manchester and almost slid off the side of a mountain - only a wire fence saved us.
