Where would you rather have your sitcom? On network or on the web/digital? There is still a difference. Most complaints come from performer/writers. My aim is to get my show on network and, almost as importantly, be in with an expanding production company. I've at least one screenplay to write, for example...
So I think that in terms of comedy, I don't think I'm getting out my day job any time in the next few years, but I still value getting in with a network/production company over the web.
In the end, it all comes down (as writers, as this is the writers' forum) to whether or not we deliver, really.
