I think if you liked Green Wing you would have liked this.
Lighten up about the Stephen Hawking gag.

The Hawking gag was weak. Presumably Andy Nyman's character was intended to be hilariously offensive, they just forgot the hilarity. Like at the end when he is shouting through the loud-hailer at a random student telling him he's gay - that's it, there's no joke there, just someone saying to someone else "you're gay".
The being mean to students antics reminded me a little bit of the Little Britain college sketches.
And when I say a little bit, I mean exactly the same.

I agree. I watched about 10 minutes, found it to be awful.
Boring.
I switched off after the first part. Dire.
I liked Green Wing and thus I liked this. Although I am of the opinion that the characters do need to be fleshed out a bit more.

I don't remember those at all.
It did have a Green Wing feel to it and I had a few giggles here and there but it didn't add up to much really. Andy Nyman's character could have been great if he'd been given better stuff to work with.

Heres yas goes -
I can't look at the link, but are they the ones where Walliams insults the student for being ginger/bald/a midget?

David Walliams was a female teacher and was on the phone to another teacher when a midget/black man/lesbian/insert minority here) wanted an extension etc. Ha ha.
I liked 'Campus'. Jonty de Wolf is very Sue White.
The format was a bit confusing, what with the voiceovers etc. Looked a bit mockumentary as well...
Ah yes, indeed they are.
Ahh, well they are set in a university yes. And feature an arsehole type, but they don't really suggest a rip off to me.

That's true actually. The numerous voiceovers were a bit, well, numerous.

Yes, that confused me a little. The way it started, I thought it was fly-on-the-wall, but it seemed to slip into a more traditional show soon after.
