Hi everyone,
We're brand new to the site, so we thought a little bit about us.
We're Jon (the writer) and James (animator) or middle distance hailing from Norfolk.
How we began...
JON met JAMES, they had a really stupid idea, which, turned into a really good idea, next thing they know, they we're sitting in the offices of TalkbackThames...
So, the stupid idea?
'BLAZE AWAY' was, at first, a stupid idea for a little comic book, which, through a seris of bizarre events and chance meetings turned into a idea for a TV show.
So, we had a the idea, but, had no idea what to do with it. Fortunately one of these 'chance meetings' was with this guy who claimed he'd sold a show already, whether he has or not remains to be seen, however, his help lead us to teaching ourselves how to put together a pitch.
So, we went to Talkback, where we had a meeting with the director of comedy and chatted about 'BLAZE'. It's four months later and the jury is still out with Talkback, but, we're considering ourselves lucky to even get a pitch this early on.
So, what's happening now?
Ok, so we're putting together a pilot episode of 'BLAZE AWAY',

This is a James' work he is a fantasic artist and has really taken a long time in creating a look and feel for the show, whilst, all that is happening I've been busy writing scripts.
Also, I write and animate my own cartoons for our YouTube page.
