So I told him it'd been 4 weeks, to which he replied "It's all in your head."

Well it was :D - okay your eustachian tubes to be precise.

I've heard some really inaccurate crap from doctors too - mostly GPs. It's very frustrating.

I only just caight up on this one so I'm not reading 150 bloody posts.

But I agree with the first point.

Jokes are more offensive that physical violence. F**king ridiculous.

Have been in continual pain for the past six months because my GP failed to diagnose facial shingles; I did not get the anti-virals early enough, so the infection was much more severe than it needed to be, resulting in post-herpetic neuralgia.

Another GP at the same clinic told me I had a sprain when I had broken my wrist.

I know we have a doc on here somewhere but sorry Mr Walker but in most cases you'd do better with a medical book and a thermometer than some of the GP's. And if one more doctor tells me my kids have a virus I swear I'll f**king.....precise science it ain't.

Ouch. I've always heard that shingles were terribly uncomfortable. Hope you heal quickly.

Hope it gets better soon - shingles always sounds awful. I had chickenpox as an adult and that was pretty bad.

You're an adult? I thought you were only a teenager!

Of course. I should have realised you're slightly older than you look.
