Is this weird to you?

I was asked to go to dessert at some folks house that I recently met. I have not lived where I am for very long or know that many people so I thought, why not.

I went to the house they dwell in and the dogs sit on the furniture while the house people sit of folding chairs or pillows on the floor.

They had at least 10 dogs or more. Oh and cats too.

I felt odd and out of place.

They played music on this instrument

And sang songs I have never heard before. It was high pitched songs of stars and months and trees.

Does it sound weird to you?

The singing sounded marvelous.

As for pets, well some people really, really like pets.

It was so odd to me. The singing could have been easier to listen to if they were more in tune and made sense. They appeared to have been into some form of mind altering something.

They also never cracked up at my jokes.

Oh and the dogs smelled and the house smelled like cat urine.

Did you just wander into a crack house?

I hope not.

They sound like right hippies.

They sound mentalist.

They sound like my bloody neighbours.
