You don't *actually* look like Ed Byrne.
He just thought your last avatar did a bit. And that one was mostly shadow anyway.
Phew.

Yep thats exactly what I meant.
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee December next week! I can put up my decs!
When is it the official right time to put them up?

I'd say it's nice to wait until middle of the second week of December really. As much as I loveeeee decorating, and pretty lights, and the decorations once they're up, I don't want to ruin their specialness by having them up for tooo long.
That's true. We've found lights up in houses already!
The official time is actually 12 days before Christmas day.
Yes, I'm pretty sure I saw a house yesterday with some tinsel up!
Almost bought a tree today myself.

I would say that's more or less fair. Anytime between 10th and 15th is optimal in my book.

And you have to take decorations down by 12 days after, right?

Yup, on twelfth night. So after you're back at school, or whatever you call it, I expect. 6th or something, IIRC.

I work on a chav estate and there's one house using at least half the power generated by the national grid on a nightly basis. The real classy thing is they don't ever take it down.
