At least you have made peace with you ant-like status.

Sorry if it came across that way, Sootyj. Reading it back I see the rogue word "even" appears before your name. That was leftover from before the sentence was altered. Originally it read something like "even Sootyj with his criticisms etc etc". No slight on you, I promise.
Twas a joke like so many of mine it failed.
More joshing at your hanging back and then commenting.

Then we're all happy! Let's go get us a biscotti.
Hey I watch the Sopranos.
You're going to take me to Satrellis and stab me in the eye with an ice pick.
Before Chrissy sticks me through the sausage grinder whilst having a hilarious discussion with Paulie about cunnilingus and baseball/
What the f**k...
It's just a thing from the Sopranos you meet Tony for a snack, a biscotti perhaps.
Next thing your dead or getting your teeth kicked out.
I know. So is 'What the f**k...'
Dan
I have never watched a full episode of 'The Sopranos'. Even though I know I'd probably love it. I have no idea why. That is all.
I seem to have missed this sketch before now.
I like it. I agree with some of the comments made though. For me, this sort of sketch needs to go completely one way or the other. The 'serves you right for being scum' line is a good example. The announcer onviously hates the passengers, which is fine but that sort of thing often doesn't work as well as just being matter of fact about how shitty their service is.
Some cracking goood lines in it.
I thought it was great, smoking brakes line was brilliant. I think it feels a bit long because real train announcements aren't this long. But it's consistently funny enough to get away with it.
I'm assuming it's for Radio as you mentioned RFTP. I thought it would work better as a video panning around the carriage where you can show baffled passengers in the train reacting to his announcements, looking over at the snoring fat-man, etc.
