Favourite TV show ever?! Page 2

I can't decide between The Sopranos and The Shield.

Season three of The Sopranos could well have been the best thing on television *ever*, especially the 'Pine Barrens' episode where Christopher and Paulie are chasing the Chechen rebel through the forest.

Last couple of years of The Shield are the best thing on at the moment. Gutting that only the first two years are available on 'VD.

I agree about Oz being fantastic, although it did go on for about two series longer than it should have done (it was getting a bit like Groundhog Day towards the end). My favourite show would probably be The Sopranos. An obvious choice, but it is brilliant.

The thing with me is, if I miss an episode completely I'll stop watching the whole series. It's stupid and that's what happened to The Sopranos, I watched the first two seasons, I think? And missed the first or second episode of the third season and just stopped! Thinking I'll just have to catch it on DVD one day. Which I will do very soon.

I'm currently doing this with 24 season 3, I watched the first episode last night. But I can barely remember any of the characters, lol, what was it 5 years ago when it was first shown?

i was struggling to put a top option on this until David chapman metioned AWP, so that is my oprion, along with top gear and soccer a.ms all sport show, also soccer a.m, i know there is one more but it's stuck on the end of my tongue.

Did you ever get round to watching the older Auf Wiedersehen Pet Lewis, I think it was you who asked about it some time ago.

I do agree with Leevil to some extent. I've never seen Sopranos, 6 foot under or Shameless because I missed the starts. Always thought I'd get around to watching them on DVD and never got around to it. Stupid eh?
