I'm not saying that he's lying about supporting gay marriage, as anyone with half a brain knew all along, I'm saying that he's been lying for the last 5 years by claiming to be against it.

Ah, I see. Though at the end of the day, it's still a very positive thing to just come out and say it. Even if it was half forced out of him. If it leads to more people being able to admit it now, or consider their position, all good.

Wow.

Near the end of the application process, an I.O.C. evaluation committee was permitted to visit London. Bid-committee officials knew that London's transportation system was a weak spot on the city's application. "Our nightmare was it would take forever to get to the venues," Mills recalled. A bid-committee team planned the routes that I.O.C. members would travel around the city, and G.P.S. transmitters were planted in all of the I.O.C. members' vehicles so they could be tracked. From the London Traffic Control Center, near Victoria Station, where hundreds of monitors display live feeds from London's comprehensive CCTV surveillance system, each vehicle was followed, from camera to camera, "and when they came up to traffic lights," Mills said, "we turned them green."

Way to go George almost makes up for the Indiana Jones debacle.

In these Leveson Enquiry days its much harder to show what a bunch of cockroaches they are at the Sun, but they can still manage it-

The transparent caveats in the article make it even more vile.

Beyond irony.

A tinpot dictatorship with a lousy human rights record is putting a former democratically elected leader on trial in abstentia.

Means about as much as the Nobel Peace Prizes awarded to Arafat, Gore and Obama: diddly squat.

It's quite serious. The idiots supporting this hearing are giving a legal system; slated by Amnesty International and the Redcross for all manner of naughtiness. Greater status than the US legal system.

Really quite dangerous.

Four years down the road, troubled governments around the world still cling to anti-Bush sentiment when they want to distract their populace from problems closer to home. It means nothing, but they look kind of stupid for continuing to attack someone who no longer has an ounce of power.

And of course they'd never put Barrack on trial for drone strikes including killing US citizens.

It's the kind of pious hypocrasy that's actually quite dangerous.
