I never actually witnessed it but I'm assured it wasn't urban myth but one of the reasons I was glad to leave my previous employers was because we had students who didn't know the difference between a toilet, a washbasin and a bidet... and would crap in all of them.

My neighborhood is full of wealthy Mexicans who have fled from the violence and corruption. Mexico will probably dwarf our problems in Iraq and Afghanistan when it all kicks off.
Oh I don't know, I think a small highly skilled well-armed American force should be handle any problem down in Mexico; all hand-picked men of course; you probably would not need more than, say, seven...

China will have to take the reins in the fight against militant Islam at some point in the far-off future. Reading some Chinese commentaries on extremist Islam recently, it is described as the greatest threat facing the world and one which musty be dealt with sternly - more sternly than America has done. Not sure the Chinese will be so eager to deal with any Mexican issues though.

China (and Russia) could make a start by not hampering efforts to stop the psychotic regime in Iran from building nuclear weapons.
I've always hoped that Russia and China would join us in kicking the dogshit out of the militant Islamists in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen, Iran, Iraq, Somalia, etc.
Iran is getting the atom bomb what ever anyone does.
Whether it is their own home built ego trip bomb.
Or an off the shelf one from DPRK or rogue Pakistani nuclear scientists.
Or one built from bits bought on the Russian black market.
It's 1940s technology nd there are vast quantities of materials just lying around Pakistan, exWarsaw Pact etc.
