Considering he took an institution from losing £1.6 billion a year to making a £2 billion profit, his bonus of £1 million is tiny. Not a lot of public sector workers can make the same claim.
And even though the MPs give themselves a pay rise every single year without fail, I thought it a tad egregious that they were going to have a vote on his salary.
Maybe he should go on strike like the tube drivers.

A friend of mine is a PE teacher and he told me how much he gets paid. It was a lot more then I was led to believe by the press / unions. Teachers are on good money.
