On radio4 this morning; Tony Blair regarding 'War on Terror' , 'We are not imposing democracy them' and 'Islamism' 'We have radicalised these people'

Amazing interview with John Humphries.

Well Dellas I hope Reuters have reported it better! :)

:( OH dear I am already sick of hearing Bush spouting about 9/11, and the war on 'Terr'. It is glorifying the event beyond belief.

Then the next news item, 1000 people drown following Ferry disaster in Zanzibar who will care about them?.

No one, cos I don't even know where Zanzibar is. :(

It's this shitty club in Stoke that I was dragged to once.

They've done a good job with Ground Zero. Was preparing to cringe but actually dignified

It's where Jack Black gets take-out for his girlfriend before sex.

I'd dare them to try such a thing in New York (or Texas, for that matter) but I suspect most of that bearded bunch are on the no-fly list.

;) Heathens!

Another time that a water cannon would have been useful. They could have said they were just putting out the fire.

Nice that there was a group of peaceful muslims protesting against the protesters though.

:O DaButt what's happening with the forest fires?

I'd use a real cannon on them -- especially Spitting Guy.

More than a thousand homes burned so far. Fires keep cropping up and will continue to do so until we get some rain. There hasn't been any appreciable rain here in months and we're basically baking. Millions of acres of crops have been lost and I'm even starting to see large oak trees dying. Half my lawn is dead and will have to be replaced next spring. :(.

:( How near are the fires to San Antonio?, thank God it's only your lawnthat's dead. I can't imagine how terrified I'd be if I saw a fire approaching out of control.

There are dozens of fires all across this huge state but the worst is about 90 miles away in Bastrop.

Last Monday there was a 200-acre fire that came within a mile of my house but the winds were favorable . It was scary getting automated phone calls advising us to evacuate.
