So if he's saying he will not surrender like his bodyguards, who he must have picked for their lack of tendency to surrender, then he's saying ...he will surrender? Maybe he's in the middle of Tripoli right now waving a white flag, wondering why no-one's taking any notice.
I read the news today oh boy! Page 527
Perhaps the whole civil war was a ruse to get a questio abot him on QI

It does look cool, though. All that junk.
I can't believe that the Hearts fan who attacked Neil Lennon has been acquitted.
Millions saw the footage, he admitted it, his counsel said he was guilty, he even wrote a letter of apology, but he still got off with it.

"Turkey is to expel the Israeli ambassador after details emerged of a UN report into last year's deadly raid on a Gaza-bound flotilla.
Officials in Ankara said it was also suspending all remaining military agreements with Israel."
And why?
Turkey wants Israel to apologise for the raid but it has refused to do so.
Sorry is the hardest word.

The jury needed to return a quick verdict, they were late for flute practice.

With all the political changes in the region Israel wants to get in some practice at falling out with secular democracies as well.

Well apart from the fact that this expulsion has been in the pipeline for years and has more to do with Turkey wanting to dump a toxic and embarassing relationship. Whilst getting on the good side of it's Arab neighbours.
There's no suggestion that the bloke what thumped that footballer. Had been tacitly underwriting a terrorist conspiracy to undermine the legitimacy of the English football league and possibly FIFA it's self.
There have been lots of violence and rioting in Toronto, apparently residents are disgusted as not one person has been arrested!
The riots back in June? Weren't they in Vancouver?

The best way to remember Winehouse
Amy Winehouse knew from an early age just
how she wanted her music to sound, and her
image to be. People from her label say
from the get-go she had concrete ideas
about absolutely everything connected
with it - the production, the musicians
she wanted - even the typeface on the
sleeve. As a young stageschool alum she
wasn't taken seriously enough at first
and it's no secret she wasn't altogether
happy with how Frank turned out. What
those that worked with her early on say,
though, is that when Back In Black came
out, it was astonishing that everything
about it was exactly as she always said
she wanted her album to be - even down
to the cover art. So, while it's sad
that she only left a tiny canon of music,
it's fitting that the album that
made her famous was exactly the album she
wanted to make.
Quote: The Cool Mikado @ September 3 2011, 10:50 PM BSTSo, while it's sad that she only left a tiny canon of music
Robert Johnson recorded just 29 songs.
Question of proportion here I think.
